Shopping n Eating day .....

Today i meet Ling at Chinatown then ard 1pm she went to meet her colleagues for lunch n i went to meet Susan. Then we want to go to Kinokuniya bookstore at Liang Court cos having 20% discount for card members ma so go see got things to buy or not.

After tat we go to City Hall cos we wan to find Dave to trim our fringe but had to wait for Ling b4 we can go so both of us went to Mos Burger for a bites while waiting for Ling. Ard 4pm, she come n meet us. After cutting our fringe, Ling n Susan say tat we gg to Marina Square there for dinner so we took the free shuttle bus from City Hall mrt to Suntec. When we were abt to reach, i ask Ling y today we must go MS to eat then she said tat they wan to celebrate my bday n Susan also blur blur say not yet wor then i said ya la still early lei...now only April n my bday is July lei then she thought my bday is 7th May then i say tat is 5th JULY lei.... then i say her so blur huh n some more known for more than 15yrs liao still forget huh.....(*_*) ...forgive her lo cos she recently too tired liao...haiz

So in the end we didnt go MS n we sit the shuttle bus back to City Hall mrt again. We decided to go Orchard instead lo...

We went to Metro at Paragon to shop first b4 we go to Imperial Treasure Nan Bei Restaurant [391 Orchard Rd #05-12/13] to have our dinner.

What a day ???

Today i took half day to go interview at 2pm. So ard 1.15pm i left office then went to taxi stand to take cab. Then tis taxi driver ask me which way i wan to go then i say tat way which no ERP then i ask tis time will jam or not then he say maybe. After driving awhile, he suddenly ask me if i in hurry for time then i say quite then he say tat he wan to go toilet at the nearby petrol station then i look at my time then say ok u can go. When we reached the Shell station, he stopped his taxi near to the toilet, he very fast get down the taxi n run to the toilet. Less than 3 mins he out of the toilet n say thank you to me.
After tat, my nightmare is near cos he drove by the small roads n in a very fast speed n tis is ok but but he cut the lane when the lorry in front of him is driving quite slow after he had no patient waiting behind. Then another road he cut lane again...(*_*)
OMG, when i reach my destination, i felt wanting to vomit n got headache...how m i gg to do well for my interview...i so worried then lucky i still got time to have a seat to rest myself b4 the interviewer arrive. But then suddenly i wanted to go toilet but scared tat gg to be my turn so i dare not go so no choice had to control myself. So nervous...
Hope tat i will not sit tis type of speeding taxi again cos the feeling is really BAD...

HappY BirThDay Dad !!!

On the 18th Apr, we had a celebration for my dad cos today is his wat we call Chinese date birthday cos his actual bday is 30th March 1949...n on tat day my sis n i treat him to eat at Fish & Co at novena square there.

Tonight we had dinner at Gim Tim Restaurant at Blk 157 #01-546 Ang Mo Kio Ave 4 lo...

The menu for my tonight dinner will be the below shown:

Last nite, i n Joan went to Orchard after work. We went for dinner at Wisma upstairs food court. This is wat we had for dinner n it had been a long time tat i ate tis...haha




















After tat we went to the Art Friend at Ngee Ann City there n tis time again we went there when they are abt to close...we left 15mins to buy our things cos we both wan to buy a twill shoulder bag n some dylon colour fabric paints n then we choose the basic 5 colours like royal blue; red; yellow; black n white. We just in time to make payment before they close at 9pm. After tat i wan to go popular to buy compass n we also buy two brushes n also we just in time to make payment before they close at 930pm.

Today i gg to Joan's house to draw n paint the bag. I reach her house abt 130pm. Then she so well prepared cos when i go to her sis room which we will do our things, she already lay the table; newspapers; water; bags;tracing papers n paints on the table liao...haha so surprise...

The atmosphere is like i coming to a drawing lesson...(*0*)
We both very serious trace the pic on the tracing paper then from the tracing paper we draw the pic on the bag n then we start to paint.
Then i start to paint the hair of the dolls. oh i should have take the pic first before painting ma ...never mind just take la...




Ard 630pm, i finish my painting n mission completed after abt 5 hours...so tired n it had being so long time tat i do painting...hmm think back to secondary i do painting then start from poly, i didnt do any painting liao...omg so long ago...haha




I am quite happy with my work...haha n also got cheng jiu gan lo...(*o*)

How i Spend my Good FriDay 6th Apr 2007???

I wake up ard 915am so early cos is a holiday ma n should have sleep late lo...haha...but i had appt with Cindy;hong;canny as we are visiting Jess n we had not see her since she give birth lo. Hong n her hubby James will go fetch Cindy at 1030am n then come n fetch me at 1045am lo.

When we reach Jess's house, her hubby was so hardworking doing his assignment n Jess eating her bfast lo...Then we all chat n jokes till ard 1pm then Canny's bf Lawrence drive me n Cindy to Yio Chu Kang mrt cos we are heading to Novena where Cindy working place as she had booked 2-3pm squash court n we both gg to play squash lo orelse booked to sleep meh?heehee...

Those who know me n now reading my blog sure say tat huh? huh? u go exercise n play squash some more...not u lei...Am I Rite To Say Tat? hahaha (*_*)

I play by myself ard 45 mins whereas Cindy go upstairs gym cos when she play with me, i seems cant hit the ball lo so i ask her tat she better go upstairs gym to run at running track machine then waste time to play with me tis stupid player lo...haha

After tat, we decide to habe a bites cos we not yet have lunch ma n in the end we go to eat wat...guess??? sushi lo....haha

Wat the use of exercise cos in the end eat more...haha

- Bingo Table Draw [Actually tis game is cheating ppl one cos every tables have the same Bingo paper so after the host say out each no n all the no being cross out then every person at the each table had to stand up n in the end u can see all the ppls in the ballroom stand up wor...haha]

- Last Man Standing (Reverse Bingo) [Everyone at each table got one pc of Bingo paper n all the ppls had to stand up n when the no being called by the host is the same as yr paper, u need to sit down n after tat left 10 persons still standing will go on the stage n the host will call no again n the last person on stage will be the winner but hor the winner should be happy or sad cos happy is tat he win tis game but sad is he so "lucky" tat none of his no being called ma...]

D & D - Casino Night ....Part I

Today i took urgent 1/2 day leave or should say last min leave...haha cos last night reach hm quite late n i was quite tired as last night is my company D & D at Conrad.

Yesterday before the D & D start, the committee members had to go htl early to prepare for the door gifts n lucky draws.We reach there n check in ard 3pm as we were given a free room till 630pm. There were 8 gals n 1 guy in our committee.

After everything is settled, we all went back to htl room to change our clothes n make up. Due to only one toilet so no choice we gals need to share the toilet but lucky we all are gals so never mind lo...haha

At the toilet, u can see so many gals squeeze at the mirrors to make up n some more Celina stand inside the bath tub cos there is one big mirror at the side n another four person squeeze at the basin mirrors there but lucky tis htl toilet got alot of mirrors...haha

By 630pm, we need to stand by at out own duties station outside the ballroom. Kelly n I in charge of the reception n joan in charge of the door gifts. Celina as the vice chairman of the D & D is the overall in charge of the event n can see her run in n out of the ballroom. She is so busy...poor things.

I was quite nervous cos i need to be careful not to give extra paper slips to ppl cos those full timer can have door gifts n lucky draw chance but for those part timer, they only entitled for door gifts.

At ard 730pm, everyone had to go into the ballroom for a speech listening then the dinner will start.
